Polaroid Film Package
For a structural design challenge, I was chosen by a client to create an innovative display package to hold his vintage Polaroid Film. I first listened to what he was looking for in a package, then began to sketch ideas. I presented a few ideas to my client and he was very interested in the camera shaped package idea I had.
I used ArtiosCAD to create the dieline for the body of the package and the removable tray. After creating the dieline, I produced a prototype using the cutting table to ensure that the two parts fit together properly. Once the dieline was finalized, I imported the file into Adobe Illustrator and began developing the graphics. Lastly, I created a Polaroid photo pull tab that you use to open the tray in order to access the film.
